Our Year 4 girls recently went away for a 3 day residential trip to Hooke Court which is near Beaminster in Dorset. The residential trip was a great opportunity for the girls to solidify friendships, develop new skills and consolidate and learn new things about the Celtic way of life. During the visit the girls took part in activities such as making potage, bread, jewellery, paint and pottery. They also got to try their hand at wattling, felting, the making of dye and trying out warrior face painting. As you will see from the photos the girls had a great time and the trip tied in with their history studies on The Celts.
