What an amazing week our Year 5 girls recently spent in the Oxfordshire countryside at Bushcraft during their residential trip week. The girls fully immersed themselves into the experience building shelters on the day they arrived, which they then lived in for the next 5 days.  The girls were also taught how to make a fire, how to set and make traps and even fillet a salmon which they then ate for lunch.  Bear Grylls eat your heart out!

The afternoons were spent playing team building games, singing songs and swimming in the lake (which was chilly to say the least) before retiring to the campfire listening to stories, drinking hot chocolate and toasting marshmallows.
