The whole day was given over to ‘international’ activities – in art, music and even PE (Reception learned how to the haka) – and in the afternoon the entire school circulated from class to class with their ‘passports’, learning key facts about different countries. Parents were invited into school to talk to their daughters’ classes about countries with which they have a particular connection. The enthusiasm and skill with which these talks were delivered made this a very special day.
