Year had a tremendous time on their six-day French trip to the beautiful Château de la Baudonnière in Normandy. They visited Mont Saint Michel, where they climbed to the top to see the ancient Abbey, marvelled at the Bayeux Tapestry and paid their respects at the D-Day landing beach at Arromanches in this special 75th anniversary year. They used their bargaining skills at the market, where they bought souvenirs and presents. Back at the Château they engaged in physical activities conducted entirely in French by the native-speaking animateurs: archery, raft-building, bread-making, aeroball and much more.
