On Tuesday 4th June Reception headed off for their last big trip of the year to Bocketts Farm. The weather held out for us and we all spent a wonderful day exploring the farm together. We started by saying hello to one of the farm’s milking goats, followed by stroking some of the farm’s smaller animals; rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and mice. We then moved on to our tractor ride which took us up around the fields where we could see some of the larger animals. Feeding the sheep, goats and alpaca’s was some of the girls best parts of their day only beaten for others by the pig race (Piggy Stardust and Voldesnort tied for first place).  The day ended with lots of jumping on the blow up pillows, climbing and swinging in the adventure playground and finally down the huge slide in the soft play area. The girls had a wonderful day and we would all like to say a huge thank you to all of the parent helpers who helped tirelessly throughout.
