When a trip to Buckingham Palace had to be cancelled due to COVID-19, the Little Vic girls were very disappointed. However, Miss Grayson quickly organised a surprise visit by a friendly soldier to the pre-school instead. The girls had a great time dressing their teachers up in soldier’s uniform, commando-crawling the length of the Little Vic hall and practising their marching and saluting on parade. They learnt all about how the guards protect the queen at Buckingham Palace and enjoyed reciting the lines from A A Milne’s Poem, ‘They’re Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace’. Well done Little Vic Platoon!
