Minibus

 
W e operate a morning and afternoon bus service for the girls throughout the academic year.  We own the two 16 seater minibuses used for these runs and both drivers are employed by the School. 

Our minibuses aim to arrive to school for 8:15am and depart at 4:10pm.  Lower School girls who finish their school day between 3:15pm – 3:30pm, will be looked after in After School Care. until the bus leaves. We are unable to provide school transport to those participating in after school activities that finish after 4:10pm.

There are currently two morning minibus routes and one afternoon route:

• Morning Route 1  picks up girls between the far reaches of Barnes (near Hammersmith Bridge) and White Hart Lane and then drives directly to School via Pools on the Park to drop Upper School girls for early morning swimming.
• Morning Route 2  picks up girls from Ham and Petersham and then drives to East Sheen. It turns around at Sheen Lane and works its way back to School via Pools on the Park to drop Upper School girls for early morning swimming. 
• Afternoon Route 3  takes girls home to East Sheen and Barnes.  There is no afternoon service to Ham and Petersham.

We will attempt to meet requests for additional bus stops and we are currently exploring extending this service to those in the Teddington/Twickenham area.

Parents may select the specific days they would like their daughter to use the bus. There is a charge for this service which is added to each term’s invoice and is payable in advance. Half a term’s notice is required in writing to discontinue using the service.
